The assets of Chopper Trading were brought together in 2015 with DRW, a Chicago-based proprietary trading firm that combines technology, research and risk management to capture trading and investment opportunities globally. DRW was founded by Don Wilson, who got his start trading on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in the late 1980s. The firm has more than 600 team members at offices in Chicago, Montreal, London, New York, San Francisco and Singapore.

The integration of the Chopper assets and team has resulted in significant synergies.
